Jennifer's Body

I was watching Jennifer's Body today, which by the way the half
that i watched is realy good, and i found a realy good band.

The plot is based on this indie band that has cursed this girl so

that they can become famous... sounds shit but it's really good.

The evil indie band are, in the movie, called Low Shoulder, and the one song that's in the movie is really good i think. Its called 'through the trees' and i was surprised to find it in this movie, where at one point they played little boots and cobra starship, so i was't expecting suc high quality music. they also played white lies- death which is a faverot of mine.

the real band is called no country and the songwriter and real singer for the song you hear in the movie is Ryan Levine who plays the guitarist Mick in the movie. Additionally the drummer you see is Sal Cortez who plays the character Chas.
check the mout on myspace, there music is realy good, i dont think its downloadable yet though

Lost Love

The Temper Trap 'Love Lost' is one of those songs which would be in the scene of a movie when two lovers were reunited. it so nearly the cheesiest thing ever sung, but i only found that when i properly listened too the lyrics. I'm not sure if its the real video has been made yet but this is all i could find

Teardrop

I'd kinna forgotten how much i actually am in love with 'Teardrop' by Massive Attack song.
I was lying in bed listen to shuffle and it came on and i got goose-bumps. This song is literally amazing. all the way too school and back i listened to it and i promise you it NEVER gets old.
I think it might be her voice or the music but whatever it is i love it and i will probably forever. instant classic.

Death Cab for Cutie

AHH where do i start?
Well this band is pretty much amazing and has been hyped up so much i think soon it will be one of the few of it's kind in the top 10.
The american indie rock band has already been featured in... get this Twilight:New Moon.
Although it's been around since i was just a toddler, i think this year will be a breakthrough. I've heard its big in America but since its introduced to the UK throughout the form of vampires, its taken it by storm.
I think this video is really cute, I'm not sure if its the official music video but i love it either way.

Alessi's Ark

with her sugar sweet voice and quirky amazingness she realy has it all.
i'm pretty shure im in love with this woman!
her voice is really baby-fairy-tale like and although signed by virgin records, she had still obtained her original folk voice.
although i love 'the horse' her most successful track i think 'woman is also really worth listening too.

Alessi's Ark- Over The Hill

Air Traffic

Air Traffic are officially one of my favourites!
i think this song (shooting star) is a kind of like Coldplay rejuvenated with sweeter lyrics.
i think one of my favourite things about them must be because there from Bournemouth, where all of my best childhood memories are.
this is my favourite song i think out of their album, however 'Empty Space' is amazing too.
they've really got everything going for them and i really really hope they'll be massive soon.

wow Paolo!

i got a bit excited by Paolo Nutini is cover versions of MGMT 'time to pretend' on radio 1
i could listen to it over and over again! skip to 11.50 because there's a long interview before hand.
i love Paolo and he's gorgeous too. its wired to actually hear the lyrics!
anyway give it a listen its relly worth it, i love it, i think i'm going to buy the live lounge record just for this.
